Sites of Culture was a series of public inquiries in Kamloops, British Columbia, exploring where the public saw sites of culture, with a particular emphasis on youth. The focus was on a co-created community map that charted sites of community energy and ideas about where and what culture is. Based on these conversations and mappings, a series of artist- multiple t-shirts were created and gifted to project contributors, as an experimental way of getting work out of the gallery into the community as well as method of sharing project results back with participants and community members.
